Data Management As A Service (DMaaS)

On a scheduled basis, all applicable source files are automatically pulled into the system and the ETL process (extract, transformation, and load) begins to clean, transform, combine, de-duplicate household, archive, conform, and structure the data for the data warehouse. Our platform is 100% automated and operates in a "lights out environment" eliminating the types of errors associated with manual processing.

  • Security: The platform resides on state-of-the art private cloud servers housed in a SAS70 Type II and Safe Harbor Compliant data center. This helps to mitigate the risks associated with data breaches.

  • Customizable data model: V12 Group can customize the data management environment and support unique end-user requirements in a manner that expedites the implementation of the data management platform.

  • Relational database for business inquiries: The data is uploaded to a relational database which is the general-purpose technology for storing, managing, and querying data. V12 Group's Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) database technology is used for storing, managing, and querying data specifically designed to support business intelligence (BI) uses. New BI capabilities provide users the ability to quickly and easily receive historical, current and predictive views of the data including reporting, data mining, and predictive analytics resulting in better business decision-making.

This includes our Consumer Database comprised of 206 mm individuals and 114 mm households with demographic, psychographic, behavioral, lifestyle, interest and all contact channel data points. Our Auto Database has automobile information on 90mm individuals including make, model, year, class and purchase type among others. Our Business Database is comprised of approximately 40mm individual contacts with firmographic and personal data attributes such as SIC, number of employees, revenue range, functional area of responsibility, title, URL and all contact data.

  • Data Marts for specific applications: At the end of the processing cycle, the system follows pre-defined business rules to automatically create Data Marts, subsets of the data warehouse which are designed and tuned for a specific business purpose. Clients can take advantage of V12 Group's API to enable connectivity of the V12 Group DMaaS to their own source systems as needed.

  • The CUBE dimensional model is lighting fast: The data is arranged in a dimensional model (also known as a CUBE) which is optimized for speed of query and performance. Typical query response time against a 1.5 billion record data set has been under three seconds.

  • List selector and list enhancement modules: V12 Group has developed web-based applications such as List Selector and List Enhancement. These applications provide customers the ability to quickly and easily run counts and have direct access to data, using their browsers in a secure environment.
